I am a psychotherapist practicing in Cleveland Heights. I enjoy working with clients to co-create a supportive environment in which you can grow in awareness of yourself; both those aspects you may know and appreciate as well as those we struggle to own and integrate into our sense of self.
In 2007 I received a BA in philosophy and political theory from John Carroll University. After several years of working for local nonprofit organizations in fundraising and stewardship, I took the leap of shifting careers to join the helping professions. My graduate training is in clinical mental health counseling at Cleveland State University (CSU) and the Gestalt Training Program (GTP XVIII) at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.
One of my passions is to expand clinical competencies for marginalized populations and as a result I created and co-teach a course at CSU on "Counseling LGBTQ Clients", one of only a handful of such classes in the country. I also provide continuing education workshops and trainings on supporting LGBTQ clients as well as on the role of mental health counselors in psychedelic psychotherapy to local agencies, organizations, and academic institutions.
A native Ohioan, I enjoy being and foraging in nature, spending time with family and furry loved ones, and playing music with friends.
