Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
(KAP)
My Approach to KAP
In my practice, I integrate ketamine with psychotherapy to provide a comprehensive and holistic healing experience. Every client’s journey is unique, and my goal is to support you in exploring and processing emotions, traumas, and challenges with compassion and care.

If you’re interested in exploring Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, I invite you to schedule a consultation. During this initial meeting, we’ll discuss your goals, answer any questions, and determine if KAP is the right fit for you.
Individual Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
A Tailored Healing Experience
I offer individual KAP sessions that are designed to meet your specific needs. Working one-on-one, we will embark on a deeply personalized therapeutic journey together. The process begins with a thorough assessment to determine if KAP is the right fit for you, followed by a referral to Journey Clinical for a medical evaluation and then, once medically cleared, the development of a customized treatment plan.
Session Structure
-
Preparation: Before your ketamine session, we’ll have preparatory meetings to discuss your intentions, set therapeutic goals, explore fears and expectations, and ensure you feel informed and comfortable with the process.
-
Ketamine Session: During the ketamine session, I will be present to support and guide you through the experience in a safe and monitored environment, helping you navigate and explore your inner world.
-
Integration: After the ketamine experience, we’ll work together in integration sessions to make sense of the insights gained, allowing you to incorporate them into your everyday life.
Who Can Benefit?
Individual KAP is especially beneficial for those looking to dive deep into their mental health challenges in a personalized setting. Whether you’re dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, or seeking personal growth, KAP offers a unique path to healing and transformation.
Group Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
Healing in Community
In addition to individual sessions, I offer group KAP sessions, which provide a powerful communal healing experience. In a group setting, you can explore your therapeutic journey alongside others who are on a similar path. The shared experience often fosters a sense of connection, mutual understanding, and collective healing.
Session Structure
-
Preparation: Group preparation sessions are designed to help participants set intentions and build trust within the group, creating a safe and supportive environment for the ketamine session.
-
Ketamine Session: The ketamine session is experienced as a group in a carefully controlled setting. While each participant will have their own individual experience, the collective energy of the group offers additional support.
-
Integration: Group integration sessions provide an opportunity to share experiences, learn from one another, and support each other in making sense of the insights gained during the session.
Who Can Benefit?
Group KAP is ideal for individuals who are comfortable in a group setting and wish to experience the added benefit of shared healing. It’s particularly powerful for those dealing with feelings of isolation, as the group dynamic fosters connection and mutual support.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the duration of a KAP session?
KAP sessions typically last 2-3 hours, including preparation, the ketamine experience, and initial integration.
Is ketamine safe?
When administered by trained professionals in a controlled environment, ketamine is generally safe. Both Journey Clinical and I take every precaution to ensure your safety and comfort throughout the process.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on your individual needs and therapeutic goals. During our initial consultation, we’ll develop a treatment plan tailored specifically to you.
How does ketamine feel?
The effects of ketamine, which most patients find pleasant, last for approximately 45 minutes. These effects can make you feel “far from” your body, and facilitate shifts in perception that can often feel expansive in nature. Your motor and verbal abilities will be reduced, so you’ll be lying down in a comfortable position during the experience. Once these effects subsided, we’ll spend the remainder of our appointment giving you space to process and discuss your experience. While it may feel hard to articulate what happened during the experience, patients feel like the insights gained are none-the-less clear. Studies have shown that the benefits to mood and neurological growth can last up to two weeks after the Ketamine experience.
What is the cost of treatment?
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy is an affordable, accessible modality. Although the medical intake and follow ups are not covered by insurance, they are eligible for out-of-network reimbursement.
